How-To Guide for Finding A Spot for meetings and GA Locations
A How-To Guide for Finding Meeting Space for Working Groups, General Assemblies, etc.
Here is a list of venues that people have used in the past: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0Aq7ZR99QdwFodGVraE1oSW16bndDSG9LcVJtdjFGX0E Look at availability and capacity, and if the space works for your meeting, contact the individual listed.
If none of these work, consider:
- using an outdoor space like a park or plaza. Wear warm clothes!
- using the home of someone in your working group
If these won’t work:
- Call churches, community-based organizations, neighborhood spots. If they can’t provide space themselves, chances are that they can give you the contact information for people that can. PLEASE PUT DOWN THE INFORMATION IN THE GOOGLE SPREADSHEET SO THAT OTHER PEOPLE CAN TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THE WORK YOU PUT IN.
